The Heralds of Ikoros (The Baker's Dozen)

A white-robed follower of Ikoros silently delivers a note and awaits your instruction.

“Heralds,

My spies have tracked the cultists. They've been moving obsidian into the sewers to unknown ends. I implore you to discover their purpose and put a stop to it.

My minion will guide you and has been instructed to await your instructions.”

Apparently Ikoros no longer feels the need for drama in the wake of the revelations of your last contact.

Ikoros offers 160 g.p. to discover what the cult is up to and put an end to it.

Winter Flitwick (The Baker's Dozen)

Despite the light of Helios warming the days and melting back the snow the nights of Axius remain frigid. As usual, you gather at the bakery to enjoy your ale and recount your deeds. In the happy haze of a comfortable drunk you barely notice the light begin to dim and the temperature drop. That is until the mid-tale steam of Tim's breath brings your attention to the chill and a sudden alert silence spontaneously grips the group.

A barely audible chorus of other-worldly chanting fills your heart with sudden sorrow. Your eyes well with tears from the despair of the song whose words you can't understand. Flitwick enters erratically on tinkling fairy wings. No longer the dim warm light for which it was once used but now a cold fire burns in Flitwick's eyes and along its body.

“The lady demands of you a task. These humans have stolen from us three sacred artifacts. It is believed they were transported here by house Kleidemos or a cohort. You will find the locations of these artifacts and report. Ring this bell three times and speak. You shall be heard and rewarded.”

B.F. steps forward to ask the obvious question, “If we refuse?”

“You have three days,” says Flitwick as B.F. cries out in anguish. Flitwick spins in ever more brilliant blue light and transforms into a glass bell that clatters to the floor. B.F. tears at his tunic revealing Thefri's hunting trophy the claw of which now burrows into his flesh.

The lady, whoever that is, offers a reward for information and a penalty if it's not forthcoming.
